Bioanalytical Intern

This is a temporary, part-time position with expectations of no more than 20-24 hours worked per week. Applicants must currently be enrolled in a College/University degree program majoring in biology, chemistry, or scientific related field. Internship timeline is expected from January-March 2026, with potential to extend. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Run assays with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to providedmethod/directive
  • Prepare buffers
  • Pipetting
  • Adhere to safety requirements
  • Keep accurate inventory of supplies for assays
  • Responsible for accuraterecord keeping regarding assay details and reagents

Additional Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Preferred Qualifications Education/Experience:

  • Rising junior or senior in a 4-year college or university majoring in biology, chemistry, or related field
  • Or Enrolled in a scientific graduate program
  • Completed a minimum of 2 lab courses in a college or university setting

Skills:

  • Ability to carryout routine tasks accurately, following strict methodology to carryout analysis, preparing samples and maintaining and operating standard laboratory equipment.
  • Must work effectively within team to meet objectives under time constraints
  • Ability to take direction well and multi-task
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel and Word
