Industrial Marketing Intern
Industrial Marketing Intern
Fabri is hiring a Marketing Intern to work directly with the CEO for a six-month term, starting immediately. It is a hands-on role with real ownership and unusual access to how an early-stage aerospace and defense startup operates day to day.
You will produce the photos, videos, decks, and written content that go out to our investors, customers, and the public. You will sit in on investor meetings, see how funding rounds come together, and leave the role with a portfolio of real work tied to a real company.
The Company
Fabri is an early-stage investment casting startup building a fully integrated digital foundry. We produce precision metal parts for aerospace and defense customers, faster and more cost-effectively than the legacy industry, by combining additive manufacturing with AI-driven design. We are well capitalized, backed by top-tier investors, already shipping parts to customers, and growing quickly. Fabri is located in Boston Metrowest, and all employees work on-site. Fabri is an equal opportunity employer.
The Role
Working alongside the CEO, you will help build Fabri's marketing function from the ground up. The work spans photo and video production, graphic and slide design, social and written content, market and competitive research, and preparation for investor and customer meetings. You will be expected to use modern AI tools (including Claude Code and Cowork) as part of your daily workflow to produce a volume and quality of output that would not otherwise be possible.
Responsibilities
Capture and edit photo and video content from the foundry floor for use across social media, web, press, and investor updates.
Design slide decks, infographics, and graphics that communicate complex aerospace and defense concepts clearly.
Write and publish content on LinkedIn, X, and other channels where the aerospace and defense community is active.
Integrate AI tools (Claude Code, Cowork, and others) into research, writing, design, and production workflows.
Conduct market and competitive research across aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing, and synthesize findings into concise written briefs.
Support the CEO in preparing for venture capital pitches and customer meetings, including deck development, narrative refinement, and meeting prep.
Monitor aerospace and defense publications, podcasts, and conferences, and identify opportunities for Fabri to participate or be featured.
What We're Looking For
A body of work that demonstrates initiative and ability, whether through prior internships, freelance projects, personal brands, student organizations, online channels, or independent work. Portfolios and samples are strongly encouraged.
Daily, working familiarity with AI tools, with a clear track record of using them to accelerate output. Direct experience with Claude Code and Cowork is a plus.
Proficiency in photo and video production using common editing software (such as Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Lightroom).
Strong visual design sensibility and the ability to produce polished slide decks and graphics in tools such as Figma, Canva, Keynote, or PowerPoint.
Excellent written communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas in clear, concise prose.
Demonstrated interest in aerospace and defense, including an awareness of the major companies, programs, and publications shaping the industry.
Strong sense of ownership and a habit of teaching yourself what you need to know to move work forward.
Availability for a six-month, on-site internship in Boston Metrowest, beginning immediately.
Fabri does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. To comply with ITAR regulations, candidates for this role must be US nationals (i.e., US citizens or lawful permanent residents) to be considered.
What You'll Get
Direct, day-to-day collaboration with the CEO of a well-funded aerospace and defense startup.
Unusual exposure to how an early-stage company raises capital from venture investors and engages enterprise customers.
A portfolio of original photo, video, design, and written work produced for a real company building real hardware.
Relationships and references inside one of the most consequential industries in the country.
Competitive intern compensation and the opportunity to contribute to hardware that matters.
