Marketing Data Analyst Intern
The Marketing Data Analyst Intern is a technical expert responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing various types of sales, marketing, and web data to identify trends and optimize performance. This role supports the marketing team and will execute common tasks such as segmenting customer and contact lists, tracking campaign statistics, analyzing sales data, and assisting with market research projects. The intern’s analyses will directly help support marketing strategies that are used to influence business level decisions focused on driving customer engagement.
Responsibilities include both data reporting and data analysis tasks. Candidates must possess hands-on experience and technical proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and CRM software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather and organize data from CRM, ERP, social media, and web analytics ensuring accuracy.
- Perform reporting tasks using Excel and PowerBI.
- Update marketing dashboards and KPIs using data from various sources.
- Analyze Google Ad campaigns to track impressions, click-rates, CPA, and budgets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management Teams to assist with creating relevant content.
- Assist with data analysis and predictive analytics to help improve marketing results and KPIs.
- Generate weekly and monthly data reports.
- Assist with market research projects.
- Other job duties may be assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stay up to date on new technologies and marketing trends.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attending online webinars, reading online articles, and/or attending online trainings to continually hone their skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Currently pursuing studies and coursework focused on Marketing, Data Analytics, or Business Analytics.
- Technical proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
