Civil Engineer INTERN                                                                  

MBL Land Development & Permitting Corp. (MBL) is seeking a motivated civil engineer intern to be a part of our highly experienced and dedicated team based in our Easton, MA office. MBL is recognized as a premier land development and engineering consulting firm dedicated to transforming landscapes and shaping vibrant communities. Job Responsibilities:

As a Civil Engineer Intern at MBL Land Development & Permitting Corp. you will have the exciting opportunity to learn and contribute to a variety of land development projects. Your responsibilities may include assisting with, but not limited to:

  • Site Analysis and Design: Collaborate with our experienced team to conduct site assessments and assist in the design of infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Drafting and Technical Report: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to create detailed site plans, calculate design elements, and 3D models for various engineering projects. Prepare technical reports for submission.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Field Inspections: Participate in on-site inspections to monitor construction progress, address any issues, and ensure quality control.

  • Able to critical think and think outside the box.
  • Be flexible to changing workloads, be able to take on new roles, and delegate responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and demonstrate skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
