Amazon Sales Intern

Basic Function:

Internship out of Seaport in Boston 2 days/week, with trip to NYC for Footwear Market the first week of June. Manages digital presentation and upkeep of technical components of Dearfoams’ product catalog on Amazon.com. Scrubs customer experience for broken variations, tracks open support tickets, and creates/loads photography and content updates on existing product detail pages. Analyzes customer shopping behaviors and optimizes listings to attract Amazon search traffic. Helps executing minor elements of marketing and beta self-serve tools on Amazon’s Vendor Central. Supports all Amazon sales managers in reporting and day to day tasks.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Monitors Amazon customer digital shopping experience for Dearfoams and slipper category by performing daily site visits.

2. Technical issues are tracked and communicated to the appropriate parties. Amazon support tickets are opened and followed through until resolution is confirmed.

3. Tracks product detail page enhancements/optimizations, making recommendations for improvements and collecting assets for upload.

4. Responsible for loading new assets to PDPs, including photography, bullets, titles, A+ content, and video.

5. Reviews competitors in the marketplace and makes recommendations to capture market share.

6. Creates daily posts for Dearfoams brand store on Amazon.

7. Assists in pulling and analyzing reporting.

8. Effectively manages all various administrative requirements in a timely manner.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:

1. Interest in e-commerce retail environment

2. Familiarity with Amazon.com shopping experience

3. Analytically inclined, able to digest and review excel reporting

4. General understanding of retail math

5. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word – Excel – Powerpoint
