Search Engine Marketing Intern

Do you love content creation? What about combining analytics with creativity to navigate the dynamic world of digital marketing? If so, there's an opportunity waiting for you this summer. And guess what? It's a paid one! 🚀

eGenerationMarketing (www.egenerationmarketing.com) is one of the country’s leading legal lead generation companies. We connect claimants seeking legal help with attorneys in their area. We are looking for a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) intern this summer to assist each team within our marketing department. The intern will work closely with the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) teams on bettering our lead generation efforts and campaigns across all channels of digital marketing. Our ideal candidate is someone who is both creative and analytical, and also has strong attention to detail. eGenerationMarketing is an established company with a start-up atmosphere, so someone who’s comfortable working with others and juggling various tasks across departments would excel in this position.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and techniques for generating organic leads and traffic
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) process and how to A/B test landing pages
  • How to use third-party CRO softwares such as Crazy Egg and Convert
  • How to turn data and observations into impactful A/B test ideas
  • How to add SEO-optimized content online for various target audiences
  • How to come up with content ideas for a quarter-long strategy
  • How to use Google Analytics to track and monitor site performance
  • How to create high-quality social media posts that boost engagement and conversions
  • How to manage a social media content calendar and integrate SEO and CRO strategies into social media content
  • How to monitor the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools

What We’re Looking For:

  • A great attitude and willingness to learn!
  • Excellent writing and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Independence, willingness to learn, and the ability to multitask
  • Comfort analyzing data and then applying insights
  • Skills that are a plus, but not necessary: basic HTML knowledge, web/graphic design, UX, analytics experience (Google ads, 3rd party SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush),

We do not expect anyone to come with basic knowledge of the legal industry, but a fair amount of research will need to be done early in the internship to successfully market our products and brands. A great fit for the job would be someone willing to completely immerse him or herself into any project!
