Intern - Back of House

Frankie’s is looking for interns to join the Back of House team! This opportunity is a paid internship. Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for menu items according to established recipes and portion sizes.

Cooking: Cook and plate menu items such as appetizers, entrees, and desserts during service hours. This involves grilling, sautéing, frying, baking, and other cooking techniques.

Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and portion size. Must follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination.

Organization: Must effectively manage their station, keeping it clean and organized at all times. This includes stocking ingredients, maintaining equipment, and following proper food storage procedures.

Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service.

Communication: Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate orders, share information about food preparation, and address any issues that arise during service.

Adaptability: Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changes in volume and menu requirements.

Problem-Solving: Need to be able to troubleshoot issues that arise during food preparation, such as equipment malfunctions or ingredient shortages, and find solutions quickly.

Clean-Up: Participate in cleaning and sanitizing their work area and equipment, as well as other areas of the kitchen as needed.
