Job Title: Information Technology (IT) Intern

Salary Range: $15 - $18 per hour

Location: Amherst MA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an IT Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of IT operations, including but not limited to, hardware and software administration, data analytics, and IT project assistance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining data reports, analytics, and associated software.
  • Help with the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with IT support or related field is a plus.
