HebeCell Corp is looking for a motivated, detailed-orientated senior student/new graduate to participate in our summer intern program. This person will be involved in general lab organization, document organization, scribing and scanning, working with other R&D team members in experiments. This person is likely to start with staging lab and document organization, at the same time being trained to culture human pluripotent stem cells and to perform related characterization assays. This position will be ideal for students who want to experience working in a fast pace small biotech industrial environment. This position will have an opportunity to extend into a full-time position after this summer.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of cell biology
- Attention to details, good record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both in oral and written
Since 2016, we have grown HebeCell into a leading innovator in our field. HebeCell is advancing its Unique Off-The-Shelf protoNK product into the clinic, targeting cancers, autoimmune and infectious diseases. We are primarily engaged in developing universal and cost-effective NK cell therapeutics based on its proprietary 3D-pluripotent stem cell (PSC) platform, the off-the-shelf NK cell products will be readily available to all patients worldwide. Most importantly, we have developed and patented a method of producing allogeneic natural killer (NK) cells indefinitely from human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) by suspending them in a liquid solution within specially engineered bioreactors. We operate a fully equipped, state-of-the-art laboratory in Natick, MA, one of the world’s largest biotech hubs.
