South Shore Crate and Pack is seeking a Social Media/Business Development Intern with previous internship experience and proficiency in Canva. This intern will support the Business Development and Operations teams in enhancing our sales efforts, customer relations, and social media presence. This role is integral to our company’s growth, offering a hands-on experience in business development. This is NOT a fetching-coffee internship. Our Business Development Intern will be an important part of our company’s growth.

Role Specifics:

• Collaborate with our Business Development and Operations teams to source and organize leads
• Expand our client base by following up on sales leads and establishing new communication channels with the target market
• Develop growth strategies to increase brand awareness and attract a wide variety of customers via marketing campaigns, and social media campaigns
• Create engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Write and schedule compelling social media captions to boost engagement 
• Follow up with current customers and create feedback forms
• Write SEO-optimized blog posts to enhance our online presence and drive traffic to our website

• Gain advanced Microsoft Office experience
• Develop expertise in sales and lead generation

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in a college program
• Entrepreneurial minded and self-driven
• Must have 1-2 years of prior work experience, including at least one previous internship 
• Must be proficient in using Canva
• Must be able to commute to Pembroke, MA
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, operations environment
