Job Description:

The Sales and Marketing Intern will support the Vice President of Business Development and Sales. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist both the sales and marketing departments, helping to generate leads, nurture customer relationships, and support various digital marketing campaigns. You will also play a key role in organizing and streamlining administrative tasks to keep our sales and marketing efforts running smoothly.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong interest in sales and marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing, SEO)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • CRM/SalesForce experience is a plus

Hours: 3-5 days per week. Flexible for correct candidate.   

Location: Would need to be present in the Woburn, MA Bridge Energy office

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in generating leads and identifying potential clients
  • Help manage customer relationships through regular follow-up emails and calls
  • Maintain and update the customer database with accurate contact and lead information
  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and proposals
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute ideas for improving the sales process

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in creating and executing digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, email, website, linkedin, etc.)
  • Develop new creative ways to deliver brand and expertise to prospective and current customers
  • Support the sales and marketing team by enriching the CRM (SalesForce) with viable prospects
  • Utilize ZOOMInfo (online data aggregator) to identify and gather potential companies and contacts
  • Export identified companies and contacts to SalesForce (CRM) for further use
  • Build campaigns and marketing lists using accounts/contacts 
  • Assign prospects to sales team members for outreach

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Assist with the preparation of marketing materials, client presentations, and product demos.
