We are seeking an enthusiastic culinary student who is looking to assist with summertime ice cream production.
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a culinary student to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Passion for food and a desire to contribute to crafting delicious products.
- Hold ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety knowledge to ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with the production crew to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Consistency, reliability, cleanliness, and punctuality are essential traits for success in this role.
- Willingness to receive direction and feedback from the production crew to continuously improve performance.
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, stand on your feet for extended periods (6+ hours per day), and work up to 40 hours per week in close quarters.
- Willingness to sign a confidentiality, non-disclosure, and non-compete agreement to protect our proprietary recipes and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
Successful candidates will receive a wage of $18 per hour. New employees will undergo a probationary period for their first 30 days, during which their performance will be evaluated to ensure alignment with our standards of excellence.
