💰 Compensation: Summer Stipend ($2–4k based on time and performance)

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate Intern to join our team at NeuroSync. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to support legal operations at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation. You’ll work closely with our General Counsel and cross-functional teams on projects related to contracts, compliance, regulatory research, and intellectual property, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced digital health environment.

Job Description:

As a Legal Associate Intern, you’ll support legal research, document review, and compliance projects essential to the operations of a growing health tech company. From regulatory filings to contract drafting and IP strategy, you’ll contribute to initiatives that ensure our business practices align with applicable laws and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations, data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA), and corporate compliance issues
  • Draft and review internal policies, contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents
  • Assist with documentation related to intellectual property, trademarks, and licensing
  • Support the preparation of regulatory filings and maintain corporate records
  • Monitor legal and policy developments in health law, medical devices, and digital health
  • Collaborate with business and clinical teams to provide legal insight on cross-functional initiatives
  • Participate in internal legal and strategic planning meetings

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a JD or LLM program (1L or 2L preferred)
  • Residency in Massachusetts (MA) or currently attending university in MA
  • Availability to work on-site at our Holliston office Mon–Fri
  • Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills
  • Interest in healthcare law, corporate law, or regulatory compliance
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Prior experience in a legal, policy, or healthcare setting (preferred but not required)

Job Type:

Full-time, 10–12 week internship. Compensation based on skills and experience.
